Location: Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge
Keynote Speaker: Roy Petitfils
Theme: The Tug of War of Faith and Real Life
Roy Petitfils will present a sequence of six sessions focusing on the tug of war between faith and real life. By challenging us to reflect on how, as people of God, Roy reassures us that we can journey by discovering and rediscovering our purpose in Christ. Real life poses challenges that pull us in multiple directions with emotions such anger, sadness, grief, and disappointment further complicating our faith journey. Roy Petitfils offers guidance on how such tensions can serve to help establish healthy boundaries with people and situations. Anchored in hope, service, and ministry, Roy will guide participants to better understand how faith and life are weaved revealing a loving God who never abandons His children. In the words of Paul D’Arcy, “God comes to us disguised as our life.” With the wisdom and experience of Roy as our keynote speaker, this retreat will help Catholic educators better understand how faith and life reveal God’s divine plan for each of us.
