Yearly, Catholic trustees and administrators are brought together at the ACSTA Annual General Meeting and Convention.
ACSTA AGM 2021 - "Many and One"
Saturday, November 13th - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
How can something be both 'many' and 'one'? In his first letter to the Corinthians, St. Paul explains that the Church is one body, the body of Christ, and yet it is comprised of many individual parts, all of which have their own unique roles to play and all of which are equally deserving of respect (1 Corinthians 12:12-27).
This year's image embodies that sentiment: a collage of community members forms a cross, the symbol of our faith, which spans an outline of the province of Alberta. Indeed, our Catholic school trustees strive every day to ensure that the faith represented by the cross fully permeates our provincial Catholic school system, as well as those of the Yukon and Northwest Territories. ACSTA, in turn, serves to fuse these individual trustees and their respective school divisions into a larger part of the body that functions to advocate for publicly-funded Catholic education at the provincial level.
At this year's Annual General Meeting, please remember to pray for unity among all those engaged in serving the Church in an educational capacity, and particularly those who have been chosen to serve as Catholic school trustees.
Please note: There is no registration fee for this meeting.
