The Catholic Dimension will be running a recurring series called Messages Worth Mentioning which addresses current local and global concerns and provides a point from which to meditate on them as Catholics. Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. Proverbs 8:14 Lord, Around us the world is unsettled. On a daily basis we hear messages of concern surrounding economics, politics, and health. These messages are often pervasive and might leave us wondering how we find strength and truth within the constant distraction. Be with us Lord as we walk through the world and listen to the messages that we are hearing. Let us not disregard knowledge and valuable information, but help us to discern also your voice and your truth in all of this noise. Guide us as we turn to you for counsel and for wisdom. Guide us as we seek you out with our concerns and our fears, knowing that you are the ultimate in understanding us. Guide us if we turn to you in times of turmoil and fill us with the calm of your strength. It is in you that we will find peace. We pray in your name,
